For my first post of the year, I thought that I’d inform you of key dates in football in 2014, as well as give you my predictions for the year ahead.

  • 2nd March – Capital One Cup Final (Wembley Stadium)
  • 5th March – International Friendly: England vs Denmark (Wembley Stadium)

  • 30th March – Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final (Wembley Stadium)
  • 11th May – Last day of 2013-14 Premier League season
  • 14th May – Europa League Final (Juventus Stadium, Turin)
  • 17th May – FA Cup Final (Wembley Stadium)
  • 24th May – Champions League Final (Estadio da Luz, Lisbon)
  • 12th June – 2014 World Cup begins

Some fixtures and subject to change. If they do, I will update this post. Furthermore, I will add new dates to this when they become available e.g the date of the Community Shield which has hasn’t been confirmed yet.

MY 2014 PREDICTIONS

Premier League Winner: Manchester City

Other Top Four Clubs: Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool (in that order)

Relegated from the Premier League: West Ham, Sunderland and Cardiff City

Promoted from the Championship: Leicester City, QPR and Reading
