Who am I?

Hi, my name is Olly and basically I’m in love with football. Playing it, watching it, writing about it – you name it. I’m 18 years old and would love to be a sports journalist/broadcaster in the future, and have already had some experiences in the profession, writing for Touchline Talk between March 2013 and May 2014, and spending a week’s work experience at the Reading Post in May 2014. As well as this blog, I am an assistant editor for Reading FC fans website The Tilehurst End and do freelance writing for It’s Gone Viral.

What kind of things do I write about?

I’m a Reading (and England) fan, but anything that is a hot topic in the world of football I will write about. Since the blog’s re-brand in August 2016, I have stayed away from writing generic match previews and the like, penning opinion and stats articles, as well as as looking at times gone by in football history. Anything you want me to write about, just a leave a comment or get in touch via the methods below.

To see the range of topics that I write about, why not take a look at the ‘Categories‘ page?

How can you contact me?

I’m always happy to read comments you have on my posts, or you can email me (ifnsblog@gmail.com) or tweet me (@IFNSBlog). If you want me to write anything for your site, please enquire, but I may not always be free. Equally, I am always happy to accept guest pieces if you want your opinion heard!

Finally, I’d really love it if you could subscribe to my blog, as it would make me happy knowing I am writing things that people enjoy reading!
